As a graduate in Sustainable Cities many professional fields are open to you. You will be able to develop new sustainable structures and systems in the cities of tomorrow. The all-important task will be to work across disciplines, and you will be able to build bridges between different issues and sectors.

The study is highly relevant since worldwide more and more people are living in urban settings. The Master programme in Sustainable Cities at Aalborg University Copenhagen has a focus on handling this challenge from a climate, energy and environmental perspective. You will as a graduate in Sustainable Cities acquire knowledge and skills to conduct technical, economically and societal transition processes needed to find sustainable ways to lower the impact from urban living. The technical competences are supplemented by understanding of the social contexts in which the sustainable solutions are to be implemented. We aim to provide both theoretical insight and practical experience preparing you for your future career.
